Holy Cross Neighborhood’s major annual fundraiser and signature event, the Wine & Cheese Festival, directly supports our mission to foster an engaged, inclusive community where neighbors thrive together.
The Holy Cross Neighborhood is dedicated to building both physical and social infrastructure that invites neighbors to connect and contribute to a community where everyone can make a difference. Our goal is to maintain and preserve our historic near eastside neighborhood, ensuring it remains a beautiful and inviting place for all.
In the past, funds have gone toward significant projects like the Highland Park Memorial Sculpture, a testament to the power of community support. This year, we are focusing on various initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, accessibility, and community pride. Your sponsorship will support:
- Community Powered Infrastructure Projects: These projects focus on safety improvements, such as installing bike racks, painting curbs, creating bump outs, and improving paths to ensure our neighborhood is safe and accessible for everyone.
- Neighborhood Beautification and Community Building: Funds will help replace welcome/gateway signs to Holy Cross, as well as damaged signs on utility poles, contributing to a more welcoming and cohesive community environment.
